How true! We are socialized to live in our heads, it must make sense or it is fantasy or worse, crazy. Yet, each of us knows that we utilize such a small part of our brain and seldom question what the unknown portion is used for. The Shaman believes here is where access to other realms is hidden, for imagination is just another way of perceiving what is.

It's truly amazing that when we get out of our logical mind, life seems to function better and we are basically happy.

That last was great comments on the cultural social styles and Shaman awareness. I recently attended the presentation at the Crystal Voyage on the "Nature of Ghosts" by Jeff Marks and Dave King of the Washington State Ghost Society. I was impressed with what they have discovered. I was especially impressed with a reawakened awareness in my own understanding of just how little our senses can detect. My own experience has shown me that my life can be so much bigger and happier if I open to the possibilities around me even if they are not clearly seen.

First off I am delighted that you were stimulated into so much thought. Wow! Thank you for the feedback -

Other cultures that I know about would include the Canadian Culture, Great Britain's Culture, Native American Culture, Mexican and Peruvian Culture as I have lived for a passage of time in these societies and have had intimate relationships. My observations have taught me that Canadians are wholesome, the British are appropriate, the Native Americans are traditional, the Mexicans are family and the Peruvians are community. Where this is grossly over simplified, people have an energy which directly affects those around them and where ever you go, you can sense that energy.

The Under World is a common Shamanistic idea, which holds that there are three worlds; The Lower or Under World, the Middle World, and the Upper or Spiritual World. Another way to examine this would be the unseen and the Divine and all that transpires in between. Or, that which is real and that which is aspired to, and that which is imagined.

As far as the trees and the plants - they are living beings and have a level of consciousness. Just because human beings do not recognize it, does not mean that is does not exist. Native Americans often refer to the Plant people or Grain people. Without them there is no nourishment. Even the mineral kingdom, the Rock People, are respected as being an essential part of the physical life cycle. It is viewed as the great give-a-way. The Rock People give-way their lives to nourish the Plant People, the Plant People give-way their lives to the Winged Ones, the Finned Ones and the Four Legged. The Winged Ones, the Finned Ones and the Four Legged give-way their lives to nourish the Two Legged. The Two Legged are the guardians and their lives are given to protect all creation and keep the cycle of life strong.

Yes, the sky has fallen - I have lost all I ever valued except God. Now I value all that I have and celebrate the love of God. Sane? I went crazy years ago, it is a peaceful place, they call it authentic, but it is highly demanding as you can blame no one, only be responsible and deal with the consequences of your decisions. Not always as fun as the games, but a lot more peaceful.

Yes, I doubt myself, but I trust God, so I follow spirit in all things in life. It takes me to incredible places and I have an extraordinary life, I am greatly loved and I know my life has value, what else could I ask for?

Shamans, yes, we are here, however, we respect that everyone is exactly where they need to be at any given time. When a person is ready to look at things from a different perspective he will often discover that Shamans surround him, for are we not all priests and guides for each other?

Where do we go to find it? Within. "BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD." It's that moment when we fall from the frenzy of life and are just present - suspended in the state of being without the distraction of doing, that we come through the insanity to the presence and become our authentic self. Then and only then does it all fall into place and make sense.

(Attended 2012 Panel at the Friends, Philosophy & Tea House in Bellevue on January 6, 2012 with Teresa Carol, Jeffery Marks, Brenda Astrino, Debra Littrell & the our dynamic MC Deborah Drake)

I thought it was VERY good! I also thought about the number of people who showed up... because initially I was surprised there weren’t a lot more there,...but it felt easier to ask a question with just a few people, and people who talked slowly didn’t need to feel out of ease...because there was the time...and I enjoyed hearing the different perspectives and effort put into thought by each person there. I loved the age variety of everyone and thought there is a lot of potential in people who come out for the goodness of being there and trying to figure things out.

To me it seemed each person on the panel was coming from a different collective of time and purpose in a way. And the different angles of love and care were clear and interesting to ponder, and could kind of imagine how that would be interesting to GOD. Everything was great. I thought it was very helpful and would love other topics, and thought just sharing how it all (each persons awareness) happened to each of you ...your path and how you got there happened....and how you pray and/or solve problems, and if you have a thought about where you might be headed with it, would be very interesting to me. I wanted to know more about all the other cultures you know about that was of note, and what it means to you, and if you all think in very wide and different concepts in our purpose and destination of life...or if the group is similar in their long view.

I wanted to know what the under world concept is all about, and the trees and plants input in it all. I wanted to know if you all had to have the sky fall in on you...and if it ever stops. I wanted to know if you each have always felt sane...or questioned yourselves. A little, or a lot? And on and on.
I wanted to know if there are shamans ... why isnt their knowledge more apparent. Where do we have to
go to find it, and what else that we don’t know about should we be checking in to. Its fascinating...my kids would have loved it too
